How to post a listing on iDieze: Step-by-Step Guide

Selling your clothes, shoes, and fashion accessories on iDieze is fast, easy, and 100% commission-free. Follow this guide to create high-converting listings that sell fast!

🔑 Essential Prerequisite: Active iDieze Account
To post a listing, you must have an active user account and be logged in.

Tip: If you tap « Sell » while logged out, the app will automatically prompt you to log in or create your account in under 2 minutes.

💡 Quick Access: In the iDieze mobile app, simply tap the central « Sell » button (camera icon 📷) at the bottom of your screen. On the website, click the « Sell an item » button at the top right.

Step 1: Add eye-catching photos (1 to 5 photos)

Photo count: You can upload between 1 and 5 clear photos.
Camera or Gallery: Snap pictures directly with the built-in camera or select from your phone's photo gallery.
Built-in Cropper: Crop and adjust each photo easily before publishing.
Cover photo: The first photo will be your main showcase picture in search results and on the homepage.
Photo Tips: Use natural daylight, shoot against a clean background or hanger, and capture all angles (front, back, brand label, size tag, and details).

Step 2: Write a clear, descriptive title (4 to 80 characters)

Recommended: « Red Zara Evening Dress Size 38 », « Nike Air Force 1 White Sneakers Size 42 ».
❌ Avoid: Generic titles like « Dress » or « Shoes for sale ».

Step 3: Provide an honest description (4 to 700 characters)

Describe the fit, exact color tone, fabric, and measurements.
Be transparent: Mention any minor flaw or sign of wear. Honest listings build buyer trust and prevent returns.

Step 4: Select category and subcategory

Choose the exact category path (e.g., Women > Clothing > Dresses > Long Dresses or Men > Shoes > Sneakers) to help buyers find your item using filters.

Step 5: Fill in item characteristics & attributes

Brand: Choose the official brand or select « Unbranded ».
Size: Select the standard size (XS, S, M, L, XL, 38, 40, etc.).
Item Condition:
- New with tags: Brand new, unworn, original tags attached.
- New without tags: Brand new, unworn, without tags.
- 👍 Very good condition: Barely worn, no noticeable flaws.
- 👌 Good condition: Worn a few times, minor normal wear.
- 🔧 Satisfactory: Has visible wear or defects detailed in description.
Color & Material: Specify dominant color and fabric (Cotton, Silk, Leather, Denim...).

Step 6: Set your price and selling preferences

Price (in FCFA): Set a fair price. 0% seller fee: you keep 100% of your earnings!
Price negotiable: Enable this toggle if you are willing to accept price offers from buyers.
🔄 Exchange / Barter allowed: Check this option if you are open to swapping with another item of equivalent value.
📍 City / Location: Provide your city (Douala, Yaounde, Bafoussam...) for easy local pick-up and delivery.

Step 7: Publish your listing

Tap the green « Publish listing » button. Your listing goes live instantly and is available to thousands of active buyers across Cameroon! 🎉
