iDieze Community Guidelines: Trust, Respect, and Style 🌟

iDieze is more than just a fashion marketplace: it is a vibrant community of style enthusiasts across Cameroon. To ensure a safe, welcoming, and fair environment for every buyer and seller, all members agree to uphold these essential rules.

⭐ 1. Rules for Comments, Reviews & Profile Ratings

User feedback and reviews build the foundation of trust on iDieze:

What is encouraged and valued:

⭐ Honest, authentic reviews: After each completed purchase (handover or delivery), leave a fair star rating (1 to 5 stars) with constructive feedback.
Helpful experience sharing: Mention item conformity, seller/buyer punctuality, friendly communication, and package condition.
❓ Courteous listing comments: Use comments to ask relevant questions beneficial to all members (e.g., exact measurements, availability).

What is strictly prohibited 🚫:

❌ Fake Reviews & Self-rating: Creating fake accounts to boost ratings or defame other sellers is strictly forbidden and leads to an immediate ban.
❌ Review Blackmail: Threatening a user with a 1-star rating to force unfair discounts or unjustified demands is prohibited.
❌ Abusive or Defamatory Language: Insults, personal grudges, vulgarity, or harassment in reviews and comments are strictly moderated and penalized.

2. Listing Rules & Allowed vs Prohibited Items

Allowed on iDieze:

Clean, washed women's, men's, and kids' apparel.
Shoes, sneakers, sandals in good hygienic condition.
Leather goods, bags, belts, and fashion accessories.
Costume jewelry and authentic watches.
Wax fabrics, traditional prints, and local designer wear.

🚫 Strictly Prohibited:

Counterfeit goods and knock-offs (zero tolerance).
AI-generated images or web stock photos without actual product pictures.
Opened cosmetics, unhygienic used underwear.
Stolen property, weapons, medications, and illicit items.
Spam listings without authentic fashion products.

3. Respect, Politeness, and Communication

Basic Courtesy: A simple « Hello » and « Thank you » ensures pleasant interactions via in-app chat, WhatsApp, or phone calls.
⏰ Honor Appointments: When agreeing on a meetup time and location, be punctual or notify the other party well in advance.
Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Any threatening, sexist, hateful, or discriminatory behavior results in immediate account expulsion.

4. Transaction Safety & Integrity

Seller Transparency: Photograph the authentic physical item in your possession and truthfully disclose any flaws.
Buyer Caution: Never pay advance deposits without seeing the item or using iDieze Escrow Protection.
🎣 Anti-Phishing: Never share passwords, Mobile Money PINs, or bank secrets in chat.

🚨 5. Reporting & Enforcement

If you spot a suspicious listing or a user violating these rules, tap the « Report » button available on every listing and profile.

Our moderation team enforces graduated penalties:

Formal Warning and deletion of non-compliant listings.
⏳ Temporary Account Suspension for repeated violations.
🚫 Permanent Ban of user account and device for fraud, counterfeiting, scams, or severe harassment.
