GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE (T&Cs) - iDieze

Note: This document complies with Cameroonian legislation, specifically Law No. 2010/012 of December 21, 2010, relating to cybersecurity and cybercriminality.
1. PURPOSE AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS
The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter referred to as "T&Cs") is to define the terms and conditions for providing the services of the iDieze application and platform (hereinafter "the Service") and the conditions of use by the user (hereinafter "the User").
Any use of the Service implies the User's full and unreserved acceptance of these T&Cs. By accessing iDieze, the User acknowledges having read these terms and agrees to comply with them without exception.
2. LEGAL NOTICE
In accordance with the regulations in force in Cameroon:
- Publisher: 3MESoft SARL, with a share capital of 1,000,000 FCFA.
- Registered Office: Douala, Cameroon.
3. ACCESS TO THE SERVICE
Access to iDieze is open to any natural person of legal age or any legal entity. To benefit from certain features (article sharing, profile management, access to premium services), the User must create an account.
The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any access to the account using these credentials is deemed to have been performed by the User themselves. iDieze shall not be held liable for any loss or theft of the User's credentials.
4. USER OBLIGATIONS
When using iDieze, the User agrees to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information during registration.
- Not publish content that violates the laws and regulations in force in Cameroon, including content that is hateful, defamatory, obscene, or inciting violence.
- Respect the intellectual property rights of third parties.
- Not attempt to disrupt the integrity or security of the iDieze computer system (hacking, virus injection, etc.).
5. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
iDieze is committed to protecting Users' personal data in accordance with Law No. 2010/012 of December 21, 2010, relating to cybersecurity and cybercriminality in Cameroon.
- Collection: Data collected (name, email, phone number, browsing data) is necessary for the proper functioning of the service and the improvement of the user experience.
- Right of Access: The User has the right to access, rectify, and delete their data, which can be exercised via their account settings.
- Security: iDieze implements the necessary technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the processed data.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All components of iDieze (logos, software, interfaces, texts, graphics, icons, animations) are the exclusive property of 3MESoft or its partners.
Any reproduction, representation, or distribution, in whole or in part, of the platform's content without express written authorization is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal proceedings in accordance with the Intellectual Property Code and the provisions of the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI).
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
iDieze strives to ensure the availability of the service 24/7. However, it shall not be held liable in the event of:
- Temporary interruption for technical maintenance or updates.
- Malfunction of the internet network or local telecommunications infrastructure.
- Fraudulent use of the account by a third party due to User negligence.
- Content or opinions published by Users (iDieze acting solely as a content host).
8. MODIFICATION OF THE T&Cs
The Publisher reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time to adapt them to changes in the Service or legislation. Modifications will be brought to the attention of Users via a notification on the application. Continued use of the Service after modification constitutes tacit acceptance of the new terms.
9. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These T&Cs are governed by Cameroonian law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution, which cannot be resolved amicably, shall be brought before the competent courts of Douala, Cameroon.
